CREAMY VEGAN CHEESE

Ingredients:

  • Nuts of your choice (the ones that grows in the territory in which you are living are the right ones for you) 300 g

  • Starter 150 mL

  • Salt

Optional to taste: Miso, Garlic powder, Nutritional yeast, Paprika, Pepper


Materials:

  • Jar

  • Good blender


Preparation:

  1. Soak the nuts for at least 8 hours.

  2. Strain and add the starter.

  3. Blend them to make a paste. Add more starter if needed.

  4. Add salt to taste and any other seasoning. Get creative!

  5. Give it a last blend or mix, transfer the paste to a jar, cover and let it ferment for 24 to 48 hours.

  6. Store it in the fridge and eat the cheese within 8 days.
